Wednesday! SO, that means I spent all day cleaning and doing some laundry. I stopped about 1:30pm to grab a piece of leftover pizza from the freezer – and zap it in the microwave. Tasted yummy! I finished up in the afternoon and took the trash up to the road. Dom came over after work and cut the grass in between rain showers. And of course it looks super nice!

No – Dom does not mow like this!!!
After I was done cleaning, I organized my sewing chest, and then put all my spools of thread on my new spool holder. I was going to order one on line next time I had extra money — but when I was at the store the other day I found the exact same thing for almost half the price! I secured all the extra thread onto the spool so it wouldn’t keep getting tangled, and now I won’t have to fight with thread every time I want to sew something — and I’ll be able to easily see what I have!

My mom had a thread holder – I wish I would have known how important they were before I didn’t take it!
My delightful part of the day was that Gen called! We talked for an hour and it was so good to chat and catch up. I’m so glad to have such a special, precious friend!

To my friend — Gen!
Dentist in the morning – then work. And that, my friends, was my day!

TOMORROW October 15th is:

ALWAYS wash your hands, and NEVER be a grouch! I went to the Lucy museum a few years ago – super fun! I like to sew but don’t do it so much these days. Who doesn’t like real sugar! God bless…
On this Day in History: On October 14, 1926, the British writer A. A. Milne published the first collection of stories about a teddy bear named Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood.
