Oatmeal for breakfast, then work. I only had three dealer titles to do – no deals. I walked in the door and Barry said, ‘Well, it’ll be a while until we see Rege.’ Naturally I asked why — I guess Rege was working in his garage, and the ladder slipped and he caught his foot on a rung. Pulled a major muscle, and broke his ankle. He was to have surgery this morning. I feel so bad! He endured (and survived!) that Utah trail hiking only to come and have his own ladder take him down. I can’t imagine how he’s feeling. Please say a quick prayer for him – and for his wife who will have to be major caregiver!
I stopped at the Dollar Tree on the way home and got a few cards – birthday and get well. Then went to the bank to grab birthday money as I have a few birthdays coming in the next two weeks. I just pulled in the driveway and Di txt me that the food stuff was at her house – so I just backed out and went over and got that. I wasn’t even out of Di’s driveway when Mike P. txt that they had two deals and a title. So for not having anything at Pinnacle I didn’t get home until 1pm!
I know this is awful, and my PCP would give me the eye for this, but I grabbed a piece of leftover cookie-pie from Friday’s lunch for today’s lunch and then went outside to work. Firs I took all the totes and bins out of the shed, and matched up lids and tubs. Then I sent a picture to Kelly to see if her or Peyton/Logan needed anything for storage or moving. Then I stacked the ones I was keeping in the back, and put the ones I won’t keep regardless closer the front. I put the things I was not keeping in a box to take to Good Will.
I’m keeping a few purple ones and 2 small ones. The rest — are going!
My next project was the yard. I cut back all the Hosta on the right side of the hill, and a few dead stalks and weeds. From there I moved to the left side and did the bottom half – Hosta, Tansy, trimmed some straggly rose bushes, and a few mis-placed Rose of Sharon. Next nice day I will do the upper half of the left side – mostly Hosta and dead stalks.

Everything cleaned up.
Oh! When I got home from work I noticed that my kind neighbor across the street had put in a new, white mailbox post and mounted new mailboxes, complete with our house numbers! I’m so excited! It’s very nice – he did a great job. I have to come up with a way to thank him. Maybe a gift card to Chick Fil-A — they have a 2 year old and he’d like the play room! I’ll think on it.
