I started out this morning by calling the mail order pharmacy – I got an overnight email that my prescription wouldn’t be filled until the end of November. OK. A dozen calls/stops to CVS and this is still an issue. I talked to Chris and she assured me that the problem was resolved and my order would be mailed by tomorrow. Then I received another email about 3pm that said my prescription wouldn’t be filled until the end of November. I called them again and ended up talking to a supervisor. She explained that she just had to call the CVS store and switch the prescription from their physical location to mail order. BUT — the pharmacy was closed. Their normal hours were until 10pm. Go figure! So hopefully, she’ll call as she promised in the morning and this will be finally straightened out. It’s a good thing this prescription wasn’t a matter of life or death!

As usual for Wednesday I cleaned the house – which is routine and nothing to post or report. I did pull a few weeds and cut down a few stalks, as well. Also took the trash up to the road for tomorrow morning. Other than that, a pretty uneventful day!

Wednesday night Bible study started back up today with Heaven: Is there life after death? It’s a combination Video presentation by Lee Strobel and class discussion led by Wayne Robertson. I think it’s going to be a great class, and give us a better understanding of why we believe what we believe.

September 21 – What is the worst trick that you remember a student playing on a teacher? “The kids were always bringing in toads, snakes & bugs of all kings & putting them on her chair or desk.” One snake and it would be all over!

Calendar inspiration – The hardest work gives the greatest satisfaction – take a well deserved rest.

TOMORROW September 22nd is:

I have never really appreciated an elephant – or a hobbit. I could do the Girls’ Night Out or the ice cream. Or the white chocolate. And tomorrow is (alas!) the first day of fall! Celebrate what you will! (I used to know all the state capitals; not sure I’d remember even half now!) God bless…
