Looking outside at the rain and dreary sky, I am really glad to be home and inside. It’s been a busy – but fun – couple of weeks but I have been on the go. So grateful for the fun, interesting, and helpful/kind things I have been privileged to be part of!

Good day despite the rain.
I’ll start with Sunday school – still in Judges and this week is about Samson’s predicted birth. He was chosen by God before he was even born – and he didn’t always make the right choices. Sound like anyone you know? But here are a few truths – Samson BEGAN what Jesus finishes – God can use us, ordinary people. God’s grace is upon us even when we don’t deserve it. We have to serve/love God even if we don’t understand.

I taught Wee Worship this morning – with Miss Sally and Chase as helpers. We had one little 4 year old girl, Madison, who was smart and cute and had very interesting things to say! She even passed on a snack to play with playdough! Our lesson was on the 7th day God rested – he gave us an important example. We reviewed all the days of creation and were making ‘creations’ out of the playdough. Madison made a green rock and a road. Chase made a blue rock and they rolled it around the table to each other. And Chase claims he doesn’t like little ones! He was having fun!

Chase’s blue rock.
I made Chase Pierogis for lunch, did a few things outside while it was still sunny. I found a few bright red leaves in the yard – it was windy earlier, and I can’t see which tree they blew off of. At 2pm we packed up and drove to Washington to meet Kelly. Of course it rained the whole trip down and most of the way home. I think he enjoyed being here – but he doesn’t say much or request anything but food!

PEANUTS?

TOMORROW October 20th is:
National Day on Writing; National Chicken and Waffles Day; National Youth Confidence Day; National Clean your Virtual Desktop Day; National Brandied Fruits Day; Day of the Races; Information Overload Day; International Chef Day.
I’m in for the writing! If someone were to make me chicken and waffles I wouldn’t complain – maybe a chef. I feel that information overload is a real thing! God bless…
