So let’s see. Several days have passed. Not sure I’ll remember to cover everything! Nate did come over on Tuesday evening for his birthday card, and for his tuna-nunna. He txt me later and said he ate the whole thing in 2 days! Glad I could make something that he doesn’t usually get to eat, and that he enjoyed it. We had a nice visit, and even nailed down our date for family Christmas this year.

Christmas 2022 — time goes so fast!!!
Wednesday morning we got everything ready for Autmn and Cameron to visit for the afternoon. Then Chrissy found out we were having cream of potato soup and she came up too! The girls and Chase usually spend some time together which is fun for all three of them. Kelly and I went over in the morning and got Cameron’s birthday present – a blue-tooth microphone. It has several settings and does lots of different sounds and connects to a phone or other music source. He had a ball with it! He even took it for a walk and was talking to the birds through the speaker.

Singing Old McDonald….

Look at these curls! They look like the ones Kelly used to have!!!
Even though there were 3 or 4 of us watching Cameron, he’s so busy and so fast we were all worn out by the end of the afternoon. He’s very funny and smart and did a great job entertaining us. Autmn had posted photos of him in his chef’s apron and hat. He was making ‘eggplant soup’ for her lunch! It usually takes me a day or two to find where he put things that he snuck off with!

So Thursday Chase talked us into letting him stay until Sunday. He needed a change of clothes, so we popped over to the store to handle that. Well, really, 8 stores. Finally we got what he needed but that was more than I expected! How can it take 8 different stores to find a suitable tee-shirt??? But he’s clean and happy so let’s just move forward.

Now I’m hungry for Cinnamon Rolls!
Friday morning early I headed to Hanna’s Town, as I had agreed to help with a school tour. Lara gave me a quick lesson on the Exhibit and scavenger hunt, and Joanna had written out a script and some examples. By the time I went through eight 20-minute sessions I had it down well. My two favorite displays were the children’s area – the little girl had a dotted swiss dress — we used to wear dotted swiss and thought it was wonderful.

Dotted Swiss….
The other display was the clothes made from Feed/Flour sacks. The different patters on the sacks, and making new clothes when the sacks were empty. What if your mom went to the mall, brought home a shopping bag, and decided to make you new clothes from the bag? Wow.

I was doing title work for Nate and a friend, and when I tried to use my printer it kept sending me a notice that there was a paper jam. After they left I tried everything I could think of to unjam it. Finally txt Mark and asked him if he could stop this week and check on it for me. Hopefully he can find the problem. I had just printed out three pages for my church class an hour before so not sure what the problem is. Ugh.

Today is a perfect fall day – 75*, sunny, and comfortable. I may go outside after I post this – see if anything needs done. I got Chick Fil-A for Chase after Nate and Josh left, so he’s set until much later. And I’m ready with everything for my class tomorrow. I believe Chase is going to help me with crowd control!

SCRIPTURE of the DAY:

PEANUTS?

I’d love to be here!!
TOMORROW October 19th is:
National Kentucky Day; National Seafood Bisque Day; Evaluate Your Life Day; National New Friends Day; Sunday School Teacher Appreciation Day; World Toy Camera Day.
Not sure how I would evaluate my life… It’s fun to make new friends, and I always appreciate the ones who take time to study and teach God to us! I loved teaching the littles! God bless…
