It’s been a while since I could just have a slow start to my morning. I read a chapter before I even got out of bed! I’m in the middle of a series, which I am enjoying. This book was hard to get through because there was an illness, but at this point there is healing and I’m feeling better about it – even a wedding!! Why do books affect me this way?

Kathy stopped over a little before lunch, and brought me some green/red peppers. I washed them and chopped them up, then froze them for future Stuffed Pepper Soup. I gave her back the booster seat that Cameron is done with, since she lent it in the first place.

After Kathy left I headed out to get a little shopping done, and stop at the bank. I picked up a prescription, grabbed some Diet Coke (a switch from Diet Pepsi), and two egg bagels. Then I went down to Pinnacle to finish the paperwork from Saturday. It’s so good to have Sir Regis back! We both had stories to share and catch up on the week.

After a quick sandwich, I started a load of laundry then went outside to cut the grass. I haven’t mowed for a long time since Trent has been mowing. I just felt like I needed some exercise, and it felt good. It was absolutely no problem and I got it done in good time. Probably the last cut of the year – unless the front yard needs a touch-up one more time.

The fire-pit grass is finally growing

Mark stopped over to look at my printer but it was still not working. The error codes did not match the problem, and the options were not correct. So we disconnected everything, and I’m going to let Ken (my boss) look at it tomorrow. Otherwise, I guess I will be shopping for a new printer. This one is only 2 years old!

Mark also helped me take the lock tumbler out of the desk door so I could get one with a key. It would be helpful to be able to lock the computer with ‘little hands’ around!

Kathy and Paul are on their way (or possible already arrived) to Lancaster – they are taking Millie to see NOAH. I think she’ll love it! It was my favorite one!

I have JOURNEY BACK TO CHRISTMAS on Hallmark in the background…

SCRIPTURE of the DAY:

PEANUTS?

TOMORROW October 21st is:
National Apple Day; Back to the Future Day; National Witch Hazel Day; National Pharmacy Technician Day; National Reptile Awareness Day; National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day; American Frog Day; Celebration of the Mind Day; Count your Buttons Day; National Pets for Veterans Day; National Share the Warmth Day.
The kids used to LOVE watching Back to the Future – I think that movie is a classic! I’m thankful that my Pharmacy is good at auto refills! Not a fan of frogs or reptiles. I don’t think I’ll take time to count my buttons… God bless!
