I was pretty busy all day – worked this morning, then popped down to L&L Fleatique. I was looking for a mini pumpkin – like the size of a nickel. Found it!

Had toast and tomato for lunch, then changed the sheets on the trundle bed in the Flag room. It’s a chore, especially with my wrist not having enough strength to achieve certain tasks. Then I washed the other sheets – one to pass along (I’m not a fan of microfiber) and one to keep for the other beds.

I took a few minutes to cut back the mini black eyed Susans growing in the gardens – there were 3 places. Got those bagged and up to the road with the trash. Then I ironed the sewn rice bags and filled them with rice, and stitched them shut. I have 8 for camp and 2 for here. The sunflower one is for the Crooks room, since it matches the theme in there.

I have been putting off making potato soup all week – so today was the day. Just finished it, and will let it cool and have a big bowl after I finish posting this.
