Work this morning but there wasn’t too much. Ken helped me with my flower crown that Gen gave me – batteries died and I wasn’t sure how to change them. I stopped on the way home and got new ones – so now all is well! Rege was giving me some help other things, which I appreciated.

Kelly had to make a very quick trip up to drop off some shirts for camp on Saturday. I will drop them off to a friend tomorrow who will take them up – I’ll be on my way to Ligonier. I sort of felt cheated since we didn’t have time to visit but she had a full schedule and so did I! I gave her a few flax energy balls and a bottle of water and she was off towards home. I buzzed over to pick up Kath and we went to her appointment in Norwin. I had a nice place to sit and wait and read, and she was done faster than I anticipated. She said it was a LOT but she was fine and glad to be done with it! She felt good and was happy to have a fun weekend ahead of her.

We stopped and got her an iced coffee and me a frozen Coke on the way home. I did up a few chores and did some research online, made a few phone calls, and sent a few txt reminders. Then I made a batch of chocolate chip muffins (Nancy Miller’s recipe!) that I haven’t made in ages. I had a cup of soup and a muffin for supper. Yum.
No, I didn’t eat two — I only made eleven!
I then checked on the flowers. There is a frost warning tonight so I wanted a few photos in case this is the end of the blooms.

That’s about it for the day. Thank you to all who are praying for our medical adventures – large and small. As the post said yesterday, we aren’t in the same boat, just in the same storm… Thank you!

I can’t decorate anything to save my sanity! Tomorrow we probably will be walking in the Ligonier park. I am almost out of eggs. Not sure how I feel about plant based burgers. God bless!!
