It’s 4pm so I have a little time to post. I’ll start with Cameron’s party, and then go back to the weekend on Tuesday. Today has been my catch-up day, and even though I had an amazing amount of help cleaning up last night, there were still a lot of loose ends left for today — plus I had to stop for a quick meeting at Hanna’s Town. That went fine! I came home and had a quick lunch and now I’m having some of ‘Bert’s sweet tea’ from the party yesterday. Ernie’s rubber duckie punch was all finished.

Yesterday morning there were several of us tag-teaming, taking turns chasing – ah, er, watching – Cameron, while the rest of the crew prepped. It took a village for sure!

Is he really playing with these? Or just dumping them everywhere?

In his Ghost PJ’s — we read ‘Monster at the End of this Book!’

He loves Rubber Duckies – the smaller the better!

Before the party.
But it was a wonderful day yesterday – for all of us. Autmn, with Summer’s help, spent HOURS drawing and painting and planning and baking and cooking and decorating. She was amazing! I spent a lot of time Friday and Saturday getting things set up so there would be a bunch of chairs for everyone – and they all sat in the driveway! It didn’t seem to bother anyone. Everyone was gathered around when Cameron walked out and saw them all! What a precious little smile on his face! He loves everyone so much!

Are these people for ME?

I love these peopole!

Yep – that’s me!

Their shirts say ‘Dad’ and ‘Mom’ and Cameron’s hand prints are on the back!
Autmn, with Summer’s help, drew and painted Sesame Street scenes and lined the driveway. Penny and Josie drew on the driveway with chalk to make it into Cammy’s World.

Autmn and Summer did these.

Cameron looked into the can and said: OOOOh, stinky!

Time for party fun!

Too bad no one got him any fun gifts….

(Car not included!)
One of his favorite things was his new bike – complete with helmet, arm and leg pads, and biker’s gloves! Once he figures it out I think there will be no stopping him!

It even has a cool sounding bell! His favorite part…

Daddy and Gigi helping out.

He also LOVED his toddler Crayola Crayons! Aunt Bella is helping him find paper!
There was tons of food – chips and dip, Abby’s magic pretzel wands, ‘Dirt’, veggies, fruit, Cookie Monster’s cookies, and a candy bar for people to take home goodies.

Take home!

Always have to have cake for ‘Happy Birthday to You’!

In the end, Cammy’s World is the best place to be!

Everyone’s welcome on Sesame Street…

Where everyone’s your friend!

What a great day!
Thanks to everyone who came, helped to celebrate, and helped clean up. Even the work was fun – because we were all together and celebrating Cameron James being TWO!!!
