There was frost on the pumpkins this morning! It almost looked like snow in the neighbor’s yard. I was glad to be inside. I did laundry first thing, then had breakfast, and finished the last few chapters in the first book of a new series. So I’m on chapter 3 of the second book.

Then I started on my lists. I put together a basic first aid kit for the car, then organized my finances and plugged in my iPad to recharge. Got together all the papers and notes for what we planned for the rest of the week. Next I figured out extra shoes and jackets and layers for changing temps. Sorted out some outfits that will be comfortable and practical. Got the snacks out and settled in the soft cooler, and organized the fridge items. So that was good for today on that score.

Organized chaos!
Then I made chocolate covered popcorn – some while chocolate and some milk chocolate. That all kept me busy all day.

Yesterday afternoon I spent some time outside after lunch – got the left side of the hill finished finally. Also cleaned out around my cement bench and cleared the steps going up under the deck. The vines tend to grow over top the stones, which is a tripping hazard. So it was a lot to get that done!
