That last day of May! Wow….
My back is still giving me issues but it hasn’t slowed me down! After my morning shower and a breakfast muffin, I did a load of laundry and wrote out a few cards to friends going through sad times. My friend Lynn txt me to see if I could notarize a document for her, so she came up. We talked for almost an hour! We did what Mom would have called a Flower Walk, and I pointed out what I had and told her she could have plantings of anything I had! Hoping she’ll take me up on it and I can thin things out on the hill.
After Lynn left, I went down to North Huntingdon and stopped at Dollar Tree and their Walmart. I wasn’t much more successful that I was yesterday but I did manage a few things. I got a dust pan and some of the food for Tuesday (PEEPS night). I stopped at Lowe’s and was able to get 2 small pieces of edging for under the purple azalea. The rabbits sleep under there and kick all the mulch out on my sidewalk- I could sweep it every hour. The edging should keep the mulch off the walk.
After lunch (salad) I did the ironing and printed out two of Christina’s Graduation photos and put them in frames. I cut the grass, weed whacked, used the blower to clean the walks and driveway, watered everything, and planted a white azalea that I found at Lowe’s — it was VERY inexpensive! It will round out the colors just right next spring!
I still have to get supper, change the Snoopy calendar, and pay bills (either tonight or tomorrow morning). I’m scheduled at Hanna’s Town all day tomorrow so I need to divide up my tasks. I will take my VBS folder with me, and in between tours I can go over the lessons again.
My blessing for today was to get so much accomplished!
