Kelly and I already got a lot accomplished today – and it’s just a bit after 4pm. Chase pointed out last night that Garry (the Axolotl) needed a bath because his little pink body was very dirty. I tried giving him a sponge bath but it didn’t help. As attending ‘physician’ I determined that he needed a more intense treatment, so we slid him into a zipper pillow cover and tucked him into the washer with a load of towels. He took it well…
We had a break at that point, so we melted down chocolate and made chocolate-covered pretzels. I love those things! I have two full containers of them ready for Easter. Of course I had to sample one!
Logan had an online math class at 10am, then Kelly taught an online class (which the boys attended) at 11:15am. While they did that I listened to most of Wayne’s message from HCC on Sunday (I got tied up downstairs…).
At 1pm Kelly and I took the order of tote bags to Mt. Pleasant and met Melanie from camp for the exchange. We took a few minutes to confer with the Easter Beagle about what type of candy everyone wanted for Easter at Grammy’s. He has a grip on it, for sure!
It was late but we came home and grabbed left overs for a small lunch. There is another laundry load in the dryer, and Chase is watching videos on the TV behind me. I’m looking forward to having everyone here later for pizza.
