Busy, busy day! Lots going on at both stores, and it’s always busier when I miss a day at work and have to catch up. I stopped at Barbara Ann’s at the Mall – I have this addiction to coasters and was feeding my addiction. Then I stopped at Walmart for milk and Pepsi and chips for the boys tomorrow.

Chrissy came over after school, and she was in a chatty mood – my dad would have said she was vaccinated with a phonograph needle! I love when my grandkids open up and actually talk, and share things with me. I also love encouraging them to seek out who they are and want they want to do with their lives. With Chrissy – she wants to be and do everything! She loves life! She’s interested in everything from playing professional football to being an astronaut! And a photographer. And a marine biologist. And travel. And live in the mountains. Or maybe by the ocean. She loves it all! She makes me want to change my vocation. Wait. I’m retired…. Then Autmn stopped and brought Chrissy a Starbucks strawberry drink and a cake pop. She opened her new checking account and was very excited! So I got to see all my grandchildren within 24 hours!

Chrissy with her hair up, drinking her strawberry drink, wearing her new pants and sweatshirt!

Today I’ll share Rod’s message from Martin’s Ferry – Buying into the promises. The secret of remaining faithful was Elijah bought into the promises of God – trusted and believed him. 1) God keeps his promises; buy into God’s plan for you. 2) There are thousands of promises, but not every promise is for everyone. Ask yourself if it’s personal or universal, and is it conditional or unconditional. 3) Claim the promise! Elijah A) separated himself B) humbled himself C) Be SPECIFIC in your prayers and requests D) Be persistent and focused E) Be expectant – know God will answer. How do YOU live YOUR Life? Expect the impossible, and remain faithful.

TOMORROW March 3 is:

Be SURE to sing the National Anthem! And I do want you to be happy, and singing usually makes a person happy. Kelly’s family is coming for the day tomorrow – we won’t have soup or cold cuts – we’ll have Abie & Bimbo’s pizza! Hazzah! God bless…
