It’s been cooler today – started out cloudy. I was able to take an early walk, then be outside for almost 2 hours in the early evening. I cleaned the house, did laundry, met Diane at her church, cleaned a little more, did more laundry, then went outside to pull weeds. Got the hill between the fences done, and the bottom right under the lilac done. Still more to do, but had inside obligations!
I noticed when I was walking at the bottom of my road this morning that the little wild section by the playground was full of varied wild flowers. So for your viewing pleasure I took pictures of them. Not sure what they are, for the most part, but it was wild and colorful!
I will share Greg’s message from July 11th – comfort: God’s promises preserve our life; we find comfort in His laws. When we sing the time-long song ‘The B-I-B-L-E’ we say ‘I stand alone on the word of God.’ It doesn’t mean that we are alone. It means that we stand ONLY on God’s word. Everything points to Jesus, then goes out from Jesus. History pivots on the life of Christ. The spirit will guide you into the truth. We need each other. POLICY- a principle of action adopted by a group to determine future decision. What is YOUR policy? Is it based on God’s word, and do you find comfort in His laws?
