Started my day with my follow-up with the surgeon from my November surgery. She was very pleased and said everything looked wonderful. She took a little bit of dried skin from behind my ear, and I asked her about the little spot on my forehead. She said it was nothing to be concerned about and that my summer dermatologist appointment should be soon enough to check it out.
Nate txt me that his follow-up went well. He got the staples out and everything looked like it was healing as it should. He can change the bandage himself and go back to work.
Kathy had a checkup today, and got the go-ahead to attend their class reunion at JBC next week. She got two prescriptions for side issues, as well as an appointment with the kidney doctor for Friday. So everyone got good news. God is good, all the time!
I came home and did my standard Wednesday cleaning. Kath stopped on her way back from her checkup and we solved half of the world’s problems — well, maybe not solved them, but at least hashed them out! It was nice to sit and catch up for a little.
After I was done cleaning I took a walk. The creek down the road was clear and bright, and I could see some little fishies swimming around. The sun at the top of the one hill was so bright it looked like a bright ball of fire. It was so warm today, over 70*. I loved it! But as it’s only February I’m thinking we will still have some winter weather.
Bible study is still in Ephesians – about God’s grace and our acceptance. We can’t save ourselves – we just have to accept his gift. Great truths. I always park by the gazebo and leave room for others in their driveway and in front of the house. Amy brought pineapple upside down cake and I can’t TELL you the last time I had that. Yummy!

TOMORROW February 16th is:
National Almond Day; National Do a Grouch a Favor Day.
I can be crabby – so maybe someone will be doing me a favor! There’s almond flavoring in the scones so maybe I’ll have one for breakfast! Otherwise – it’s a work day! God bless….
