I did have a much better sleep last night – woke up feeling ready for the day. Not too much at work to do but I got it all cleaned up. I had an appointment to help a friend of Ken’s transfer a title, and since the mom wasn’t easily mobile, I offered to drive over and help them. Those situations often make me a little nervous, but as is usually the case, I am more than blessed by helping out. They are such nice people, and the neighborhood is beautiful! We had a nice chat and got everything handled. Again, very nice family.

Nice neighborhood – stock imgae.
I stopped on the way home to pick up a pack of Klondike bars – they are on sale at Giant Eagle. I’ll just tuck them away in the bottom of the freezer and they will be there when I need them. Does anyone ever really NEED at Klondike?

My favorite….
When I finished lunch, I decided to weed whack. It really needed done – in fact, it was so bad (in just 8 days’ time) that I used up both weed whacker batteries and didn’t even get finished! It was cool and comfortable so it wasn’t a stress to get it done – except that it’s NOT done!

I also pulled some weeds and cleaned out a few spots in the yard that were overgrown. It started to sprinkle, so I put everything away – then it quit! Since I already changed clothes I’m not going back out – hopefully can finish tomorrow.

And on two sides of the spectrum – I watched a few tributes to Dr. James Dobson – what an amazing man – humble and a devoted Servant. And also – what they are calling the great American love story- Taylor and Travis engagaed! And then, in between, Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren are expecting another baby. They’ll have 5 children under age 10! That, my friends, is today’s news…

SCRIPTURE of the DAY:

PEANUTS?

TOMORROW August 27th is:
