I didn’t have a long list for today. I did most of it already, except for treadmill time and ironing a few items. I do have a small painting chore but we all know why I’m avoiding that! Add to that the need for scraping some loose paint chips and I’m done before I start!

Several spots like this that need repaired before winter.
I did my load of laundry, then washed the car. It was very dirty. The roads out Home were very dusty and left a thick coat. So I was able to wash the ‘BYE’ off the back fender – all clean now. Also swept out the car and garage while the car was outside.

Dirty car…

Cleaned up.
Autmn and Noah took Cameron to the Westmoreland County Fair last night. Looks like he had a great time! He loved ‘driving’, and really had a great time riding the pony.

He’s all boy! LOVES driving!!

He loved it – he’s almost always a happy child!
I still had my squash, so I cleaned it and sliced it and coated it in flour, salt and pepper. Then I fried it in oil. It was very good – haven’t had that in a few years.

Fried squash.
I pulled some weeds in the gardens, and cleaned up the steps under the deck. The weeds and ground cover keep encroaching on the stones and it makes it not-so-safe. All clear now.

I turned on BILTMORE for background while I work. I made myself a ‘post card’ photo of Biltmore at Christmas and added Snoopy and Woodstock! It’s in a frame on my mini-fridge — reminding me to be excited about our up-coming visit in November. Like I need reminding! But it makes me smile.

Christmas at Biltmore – with Snoopy/Santa and Woodstock!
I can see the shadow picture on the wall of the flowers outside the window by my desk. It almost looks like it could be wallpaper!

Maybe left over from yesterday’s post….
TOMORROW August 19th is:
International Bow Day; International Orangutan Day; National Aviation day; National Photographer day; National Potato Day; National Soft Ice Cream Day.
Ice cream is always good, and I mostly love potatoes. Chrissy loves photography. That’s good – celebrate! God bless…
