I’m not sure what happened – I lost my editing capabilities! I’ll see if I can figure it out before tomorrow! Sorry!!!

I had a meeting this morning at Hanna’s Town for the fall tea. We had a nice turnout with lots of input. However, my suggestion were not interesting, although I knew they wouldn’t be! But we did get a lot done. We were there almost 2 hours. I left and went straight to work, where I did title work for my cousin’s friend, then worked on Pinnacle deals. We had another quirky deal but I should be able to finish that up on Thursday. Rege and I got caught up on our holiday weekends. I stopped at Walmart to grab a Snoopy wall calendar for 2027 – I heard they were out and they go super fast! Also broke my sunglasses and got a new pair. That was a good move because there were not a lot left in the style I prefer.

And when I looked outside at breakfast this morning I noticed I had lilacs blooming in my trees! White ones! Those trees are driving me crazy….

Autmn stopped yesterday and shared the pictures of her afternoon at the Renaissance Festival. It was kids’ weekend and Cameron had a ball. He loved meeting the mermaid, and having a dragon painted on his face! He’s just growing up so fast! They both looked adorable!

Snoopy hay bails at a farm visit on the weekend!

As promised, here is a quick recap from our Skunk Hollow Swim Party at Colleen’s. I’m so glad we got to do that! We were all 10 there at least for a little while, and Kath and I did stay late into the afternoon. We stopped to say hello to Uncle Clifford and Aunt Joan – they had corn for us to share with our families. Such as blessing they are in so many ways!

We had a lot of food – Colleen had different drinks, hot dogs and buns. The rest of us brought side dishes, snacks, desserts, and goodies. We basically ate all afternoon except when we were in the pool. Not everyone went swimming but everyone had a great time talking and relaxing. Beth’s Harold bought r/w/b star headbands for all of us to wear and we all did! It was very festive. Connie is getting married this month, Karen V is dealing with Lyme disease (I can identify!), and Colleen is going to be a grandmother again twice! Kath shared about her trip to TX in October, Gwen’s granddaughter is starting pre-school (age 3!), Beth has a granddaughter in a nursing program at college and a grandson in basic military training. Holly is enjoying a little grandson who likes to have sleepovers, and Karen O and Gail shared just little bits of what was happening. I can always talk about Cameron! I also read my VALLEY FORGE essay that was in the Loyalhanna Review.

Big beautiful pool!

Colleen’s granddaughter Alea brought her earring display collection over and most of us bought something. She’s very talented and she’s been doing this for several years. Appears to be very successful!

Beth suggested that we plan a trip to the Dillweed for fall rather than a bonfire and we all agreed. So hopefully that will be early November! The day was perfect and being with cousins is always the best place to be!
