Once again my hopes are on the verge of being dashed. Trent was supposed to cut my grass but I haven’t heard from him. I guess there’s still tomorrow. If not, I’ll cut it Monday myself. Which I’d rather not do!

It needs to look like this…
First thing on the list for this morning was to finish the changeover from Summer sheets and spread to fall/winter. I put the extra blanket on the bed and switched to flannel sheets. I was chilly last night. I got up and heated a rice bag – what a different that makes. I was cozy warm and snuggled up and slept.

When I pulled the flannel sheets out of the hall closet guess who was snuggled in? See Him?
I had a scone for breakfast (usually saved for when Kelly is here) and a cup of hot tea. Then I ran some errands. Stopped for groceries, and I was correct in assuming that my long list would be high money. But I’m all set now for a while. I got goodies for the house, and for Chase, and some things that Kelly likes. So we’re set for next week. Tomorrow I am going to make Stuffed Pepper Soup, and then Monday afternoon I’ll make Cream of Potato because that’s what Kelly prefers.

Tomorrow’s goal.
I drove through the Big Lots plaza – I saw that ONCE UPON A CHILD was going to open a store there at the end of the month. I’m excited for that, because they sell gently used kids clothes and toys, but will also purchase them from individuals. Hoping Autmn can take advantage of that.

I had the rest of the chicken noodle soup for lunch, pulled some weeds, did laundry, cleaned a few things in the garage, and looked up some toys online. I want to get Cameron a play barn with animals that we can leave here at my house. He loves animals! I found one on Amazon but would really like to see it in person. Pictures can be deceiving. I have one more place to look before I decide.

I’m considering this one….
I popped down to Mt. Pleasant for something and dropped off some clothes at Goodwill. Of course I popped in for a quick look around. And although I was determined NOT to buy anymore Snoopys, this little Halloween guy demanded to come home with me. Cameron likes to play with the little Snoopys so he’ll be excited. And Snoopy doesn’t eat much…

He’s about 7 inches tall.
My puffy soft cow decided to move from upstairs to downstairs — she got lonely up there mostly by herself. So she’s happy now and can watch TV with me and snuggle up with the pumpkin blanket. And that’s my day!

Kozy the Cow…
