Today was just crazy busy all day. I even skipped breakfast to keep on schedule. Started laundry right after my shower – didn’t even manage tea this morning. I got everything in the car that I needed for the Tea meeting at Hanna’s Town, then left early enough to stop at the Tax Office. I had heard there was a tax rebate (although rather small) for seniors from the township so I stopped, paid my taxes, and picked up the rebate form. I’ll get that done soon (I have until July).

The meeting and the follow up lasted until 1:15pm. I dashed home and grabbed a fruit salad then went to my chiropractor appointment. I had several phone calls and txt messages that I had to handle, which took me some time – so I finally got home after 5pm to finish the laundry that I started at 8am.

I had a pair of sleep pants that I needed to hem – and the pockets were making me crazy. So I stitched the pockets shut, cut the extra off, and sewed up the hem. Ready for lounging around.

And I took the cow post card that Gen sent me and switched out the cards in my post card holder on my dresser. So the winter barn scene is put away for the time being to make room for the Cows!

So it’s after 7pm, still light out, and I’m ready to tackle the ironing and some supper and that will be it. The day has been busy but productive. I have the Waardenburg Family Farm video in the background (I’m addicted!) and I can finish up. We’re learning about Monarch eggs and chicken coops!

TODAY I am thankful for warm sunshine and some time outside! I swept half the driveway. And there are hyacinths EVERYWHERE in the yard!
