I took my time cleaning and doing laundry, since it was raining and blowing most of the day. Every once in a while the sun would come out and I would be hopeful, but it didn’t last. And I couldn’t mow since the yard was soaked.
It was nice to navigate my day, knowing that the major part of the yard was weed-free. And I do have a nice selection of spring flowers. But it was for sure an inside day. I put the spring blankets away and got the summer flag blanket out. I hung the mother’s day blanket on my blanket ladder, since it’s the biggest and most comfy blanket I have. And it’s Chase’s favorite, in case he gets back up here this summer for any amount of time.
I’ve had ‘My Lottery Dream Home’ on while I was cleaning downstairs. And that is my excitement for the day. I hope the holiday weekend is a little more interesting to write about! 🙂
