A huge Happy 18th Birthday to my middle grandson, Logan Wade! Hope your day was full of happiness and love and friends and fun! Love you!!!

There were a few things to do at work this morning, in addition to some lively, fun conversations! I really don’t know what I’d do without these guys to make me laugh! I left work and stopped at Goodwill. I had seen a little pitcher there (very tiny) that I could use for a bud vase but hadn’t purchased. Alas, it was gone! Oh, well. Saved myself $3.99!

After lunch I picked up the dried bees nests that fell out of the shed roof yesterday afternoon. I could tell they were old, but I picked them up with a ‘grabber’ anyway. I repainted the black squirrel, then I did the old milk can that Kelly brought me. They both look much better.

I spent about an hour and a half digging up dandelions by the driveway and on both sides of the walk. It was too warm to stay out any longer – at least for me! I snapped a picture of the front maple tree – it’s finally getting little sprits of leaves on the branches.

My hydrangea doesn’t have any new stalks coming up yet – but I glanced across the street at my neighbor’s house (Mr. G). They have a whole line of them along side their house, and they are not coming up yet either. So I must have patience.

I found another little Jesus behind the hose nozzle in the garage. One at a time!

Also snapped photos of both sides of the hill. I have a good feeling about getting it cleaned up this spring. And how to fill it in.

SCRIPTURE of the DAY:

PEANUTS?

TOMORROW April 25th is:
Hairstylist Appreciation Day; License Plate Day; National Arbor Day; National DNA Day; National Hug a Plumber Day; National Telephone Day; National Zucchini Bread Day; Red Hat Society Day; World Penguin Day; National Historic Marker Day.
It’s also 8 months until Christmas Day, as Bud would say. And a whole day dedicated to License Plates! Oh, joy, right up my alley! I don’t really know any plumbers personally. And penguin day is for REAL penguins, not hockey players, FYI. I love reading Historic Markers. Celebrate joyously! God bless…
