WHERE I’LL BE…..

…ANYTIME SOON!

If you are even half aware as to what is going on, you know that NO ONE is going anywhere!  At least not a public venue.  Last fall Ligonier Valley Writers had schedule a journaling workshop that I planned to teach, but that – along with everything else – was cancelled.  I don’t know what will happen next, but I will try to post on here when I find out.  Hanna’s Town Historical Site has been open on and off, so if you are interested in that type of event, check out the website (westmorelandhistory.org) or their facebook page.  They do have a lovely display in their new building!  Stay safe and God bless….IMG_4035

Then on May 23rd 2018 I will be the guest of the Baptist Church near Pitt/Greensburg campus by their Young at Heart group.  It will be around noon, as well, but I suggest you contact Jeane at the church if you are interested in attending, so they have a general idea of attendance.  See you soon!

On November 9th, 2014, from 2pm to 3pm, West Overton Village and Museum in Scottdale is hosting a Parlor Talk in the Distillery building.  I will share the story behind the story of LETTERS TO MARY, and have photos, documents, and possibly Mary’s and Lydia’s dresses on display.  Books will also be for sale.  Donations taken at the door.  For information go to the ‘contact me’ page and I will get answers to your questions!  See you there!LR PARTY-BOOK 7-14

I looked on the Connellsville High School facebook page and see that it is May 29, 2015 and they will have Civil War re-enactors, etc. I will tell our unit to see if they can attend too. I’d like to finish a nice dress and come visit you that day. How exciting for you with your new book. You have worked so hard (research, writing classes, etc.) and you sister is so proud of you! I am so glad I came to hear you speak. I am a Civil War re-enactor. Good luck! Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks, Joy! It was so nice to meet you and speak with you about our combined interest. I’m looking forward to keeping in touch, and hope you can get to the event at the High School in May. The Parlor Talk was great fun for me, and thanks for coming and being such wonderful support!
